John Galloway is a senior executive with a track record of building brands, driving growth, and developing teams. Raised as an Army brat and shaped by a short stint in the military, he learned early the value of standards, resilience, and leadership under pressure.
John began his career with six years in agency roles at Young & Rubicam and TracyLocke, working on brands including the U.S. Army, Miller Brewing Company, DuPont, and PepsiCo. Those years sharpened his consumer instincts, creative edge, and passion for brand loyalty.
He then spent fourteen years at PepsiCo in marketing and general management roles across the U.S. and Europe, including time in London with Pepsi International. John later served as Chief Marketing Officer at Hard Rock International, leading marketing across Cafes, Hotels, and Casinos in 75 countries. He joined Godiva as Global Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer and later became President of the Americas, helping expand the brand into CPG, launch the Godiva Café concept, and lead through post-COVID recovery.
Most recently, John served as CEO of ZOA Energy, working with investors including Juggernaut Capital, Molson Coors, Dwayne Johnson, and Dani Garcia. In his first 26 months, he reorganized marketing, expanded the portfolio and channels of trade, and guided the brand to a successful acquisition by Molson Coors.
Today, John advises clients through Beautiful Day LLC, focused on brand strategy, commercialization, and early-stage concept development across categories including CPG, sports, and consumer services.
John is a long-suffering New York Jets fan, an ex-college lacrosse goalie at Manhattan University (still believes he can save any shot), and a runner who set a 3:51 personal best at the Wineglass Marathon in October 2025. He is a proud husband to his college sweetheart Denise and, most of the time, a doting father to his three children: Julia, JJ, and Nicholas.
